The Story

Born soon after the apocalypse broke the magic of this world, Chef had no choice but to live in this savage new wasteland. We find old friends and make new ones in an attempt to make sense of the hardship that has befallen those who survived. Journey through the strange new landscape while cooking delicious meals that bring hope for the future while discovering the truth about the mysterious Apocalypse Cookbook.

The Concept

The Apocalypse Cookbook is a fast-paced action adventure game that has players cook beasts while fighting them.

Players use cooking styles such as slicing, frying, and roasting to yield unique ingredients from beasts. Then players combine these ingredients to create dishes to power themselves up. Use dishes to add damage types to attacks, affecting base stats, and even enabling powerful new abilities.

Your cooking styles also grant passage through the harsh landscape. The player can cut through stubborn vines with roasting attacks, or use one of their weapons to fry circuitry and then open a door. Many of the world’s denizens are also willing to grant their services in exchange for a fresh, hot meal.

Demo

The demo currently has 7 beasts and 15 ingredients. It has the core mechanics that we are looking to work with. There might be big changes to the mechanics in the demo but we hope to continue positive changes to the game.

This game is still in development. Gameplay and mechanics are subject to change.

Development

Before the full release of the game, we're aiming to complete:

• 20-30 hours of story-driven gameplay
• 4 different biomes
• 70 beasts to hunt and gather ingredients from
